Mihai Băicoianu specializes in public procurement, data protection and labour law and is part of the firm’s consultancy team. During the last years he has been mainly involved in complex public procurement projects, regulatory issues regarding the scope of application of the public procurement legislation and GDPR issues for Romanian and international companies in the field of public health, telecommunication, hardware distribution and for one of the largest hospitals in Romania.
In addition, Mihai acts as a legal consultant on corporate regulations matters and was involved in the largest FMCG transaction in Romania in 2018. His assistance includes legal advice on corporate and competition aspects of such transactions, while focusing on relevant labour law issues.
Mihai successfully represents clients in front of competent administrative-jurisdictional authorities regarding the procedures for awarding public procurement contracts, as well as in the courts of law in appeals filed against the solutions pronounced on the merits by the authority, overwhelmingly managing to obtain favourable results in most of the cases in which he pleaded.
