Preferred by many companies during these times, remote work has many advantages for both employees and employers but comes with certain challenges like lack of productivity or increased utility costs.
The massive change has many companies evaluating what they can do to make the transition smoother for their workers.
One growing solution: a home-office fund, explained Catalin Micu in a recent interview for Wallstreet.ro. Some companies are paying for their remote employees’ desks, chairs and computers and are instituting monthly allowances to cover remote work costs, like WiFi, phone or electricity costs.
