ZRVP Appoints a New Partner and Promotes Seven Other Lawyers

Publication: ZRVP

Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners (ZRVP) announces a new round of internal promotions effective March 2026. Dragoș Zamfir has been promoted to Partner within the firm’s Dispute Resolution department, while Alina Munteanu, Lucia Alexe, Viorica Clima and Ion-Gabriel Enache become Managing Associates, and Teodora Cristea, Andra Ciotir and Laura Plotogea advance to the position of Senior Associate.

Following this round of promotions, the number of ZRVP partners reaches 18, while the firm’s middle-management structure now includes 17 managing associates responsible for coordinating and supervising specialised teams. The promotions reflect the professional growth of a new generation of lawyers developed within the firm and highlight the central role internal team development plays in ZRVP’s long-term strategy.

“The story of the ZRVP school of lawyers continues with every generation that grows within the firm and understands that law is a profession built over time, through discipline, responsibility and sustained effort. Dragoș’s path is the natural example of this evolution. After eleven years of constant development within the dispute resolution team, he becomes partner today and joins those who carry forward the firm’s professional philosophy and values. At ZRVP, performance comes from lawyers who possess not only the necessary qualities, but also the willingness to make the long-term effort this profession requires. Seeing this spirit reflected in so many young lawyers in our team gives me confidence that the future of ZRVP is in very good hands,” said Cosmin Vasile, Managing Partner of ZRVP.

Dragoș Zamfir highlighted the role the firm’s professional environment has played in his development:

“I entered this profession together with the ZRVP team and had the opportunity to learn the practice of law in an environment where professional rigor and responsibility towards the client are constant benchmarks. Over the years, I have had mentors who offered not only professional guidance, but also a model of how to understand the profession and excel in the practice areas in which I work. Being promoted to partner represents both a recognition of the results achieved and a natural continuation of my professional path within the ZRVP team, while at the same time bringing additional responsibility towards our clients, colleagues and the projects we manage.”

The promotion of Dragoș Zamfir marks the professional journey of a lawyer who has developed his entire career within the firm. He joined the ZRVP dispute resolution team immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Law and passing the Bar admission exam in 2015. Over the past eleven years, he has progressed through all levels of seniority within the department, developing professionally under the guidance of the firm’s partners and in line with the principles promoted within the ZRVP litigation academy.

Dragoș Zamfir is currently involved in complex litigation and arbitration matters in sectors such as construction and road infrastructure, energy and public services, including disputes arising from the execution of FIDIC construction contracts. His practice also covers commercial and administrative litigation, enforcement proceedings and debt recovery matters, assisting both contracting authorities and private companies in projects with significant impact.

Alongside the appointment of the new partner, ZRVP also announces the promotion of several lawyers within the Dispute Resolution department.

Of the seven promotions, four concern middle-management roles. Alina Munteanu, Lucia Alexe, Viorica Clima and Ion-Gabriel Enache have been promoted to Managing Associate, positions that will involve leading projects in their respective areas of expertise and expanded administrative responsibilities.

At the same time, Teodora Cristea, Andra Ciotir and Laura Plotogea have been promoted to Senior Associate, in recognition of their contribution to complex litigation and arbitration matters handled by the firm.
